Copyrighted Materials Reproduction Rights, Policies, & Official Application

Use of Copyrighted Materials Policy
The following information will help determine if you need to complete the Application to Use Copyrighted Materials.

You do not need permission to copy materials, and are not required to complete the application, if you wish to reproduce pages from SeniorBrainHealth.org or The Critical Thinking Co.™ books that belong to you for use in a single household or institution with a maximum of 40 users per year.

Any format is acceptable:  paper copies, files scanned into a computer, overhead transparencies, Braille conversions, or placement on a LMS Web site, provided that user access is restricted to your single location with a maximum of 40 users per year. Please remember that it is a violation of your user agreement to share SeniorBrainHealth.org or The Critical Thinking Co.™ materials with colleagues for use in additional locations. This also applies to home users who are prohibited from sharing materials beyond their single household.

You do need permission to use reproduced material outside of a single home or institution or location beyond the maximum of 40 users per year. If permission is granted, SeniorBrainHealth.org will request a small fee for use of the materials. The fee is based on the number of pages being reproduced and the number of copies you would like to make. After filling out the Application to Use Copyrighted Materials, we will provide you with a usage fee quote.

Payment of the usage fee should be made to The Critical Thinking Co.™ This fee will entitle you to use the materials as you have requested on a one-time basis, limited to the number of copies indicated.

Permission will not be granted for:
• multiple location reproduction.
• titles in which the copyright states that it may not be reproduced (e.g. consumables).
• requests to post materials on any Web site that is widely, or publicly, accessible.
• requests for resale of the materials.

Copy Protected PDF eBooks

The buyer of an eBook can legally keep a copy of the eBook on three different devices. The pages in the eBook contain an invisible watermark that identifies the sales transaction to protect the copyrighted PDF from unlicensed use. We monitor illegal distribution to protect our products. As a small family owned business, this is vital to our survival. Illegal distribution of the copyrighted material in this eBook can result in legal action against the buyer.

E-Book License Rights

The intellectual material in this product is the copyrighted property of SeniorBrainHealth.org and The Critical Thinking Co.™ The individual or entity who initially purchased this product from SeniorBrainHealth.org or one of its authorized resellers, is licensed to reproduce (print or duplicate on paper) each page of this product for use within one home or institution, in one physical location, and with up to 30 individuals. Any reproduction beyond these expressed limits is strictly prohibited without the written permission of SeniorBrainHealth.org. Our copyright and this limited reproduction permission (user) agreement strictly prohibits the sale of any of the copyrighted material in this product. SeniorBrainHealth.org and The Critical Thinking Co.™ retain full intellectual property rights to all its products (eBooks, books, and software).
